Scrim Tape Roll

Scrim Tape Roll is a self-adhesive fibreglass mesh tape used to reinforce plasterboard joints in drylining systems. It helps stop cracks forming on walls and ceilings caused by movement between plasterboards. The open-weave mesh sticks well to jointing compound and supports a strong, stable joint. The adhesive backing lets you apply the tape quickly without any pre-coating, making it suitable for professionals and DIY users.

The fibreglass mesh is moisture-resistant, mould-resistant, and does not shrink, which helps protect the joint over time. Installation Guide:

• Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust
• Apply the self-adhesive tape over board joints, pressing firmly
• Smooth out any creases or bubbles for an even bond
• Cover with joint compound or filler using a taping knife
• Allow to dry and apply additional coats as required
• Sand the surface once fully cured for a smooth finish
