Knauf Earthwool Acoustic Sound Insulation Roll

Knauf Earthwool Acoustic Sound Insulation Roll is a dense glass mineral wool product engineered to improve acoustic performance in internal walls and floors. Manufactured with ECOSE® Technology, it features low dust levels, a natural pale brown colour, and a flexible fibre structure for easy placement between metal or timber framing.

Its open-fibre composition absorbs airborne noise to help meet Approved Document E acoustic requirements in residential and commercial buildings. The roll is vapour-permeable and dimensionally stable, ensuring reliable performance over the building’s service life. It is Euroclass A1 non-combustible, supporting safe internal wall and floor construction.

Installation Guide:

• Prepare wall or floor framing and ensure cavities are clean
• Unroll the insulation and place it between studs or joists
• Cut to fit using a sharp insulation knife where required
• Maintain full cavity fill without compressing the roll
• Ensure edges are fitted tightly for consistent acoustic coverage
