Kingspan Kooltherm K112 Framing Insulation Board 2400mm x 1200mm

Kingspan Kooltherm K112 Framing Insulation Board is a premium rigid thermoset phenolic board designed for use within timber and steel framing systems. Faced on both sides with low emissivity composite foil, it achieves an outstanding thermal conductivity of 0.019 W/mK. The board helps reduce heat loss, control condensation, and enhance wall performance in new builds, refurbishments, and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). It is lightweight, durable, and moisture-resistant for long-lasting efficiency.

Installation Guide:

• Prepare framing surfaces to ensure they are clean, level, and dry
• Measure and cut boards accurately to fit between or over studs
• Position insulation tightly with staggered joints for continuous coverage
• Fix mechanically or with approved adhesives, depending on system design
• Maintain vapour control by fitting a vapour-resistant layer on the warm side
• Seal gaps and joints with appropriate tape to minimise air leakage
