Kingspan Kooltherm K106 Cavity Board is a high-performance insulation board made from a rigid, fibre-free phenolic core. It features a low emissivity foil on the inner face and a water-tight, vapour-open polypropylene fleece on the outer face for enhanced moisture protection. Delivering exceptional thermal conductivity of 0.019 W/mK, it enables thinner wall constructions while maintaining excellent insulation performance.

Ideal for new builds and refurbishment projects, it helps reduce heat loss, improve airtightness, and support long-term energy efficiency.

Installation Guide:

• Ensure wall cavities are clean and free from debris

• Fit insulation boards tightly with staggered joints and continuous vertical alignment

• Maintain a residual cavity (typically 10 mm) between the insulation and outer leaf

• Secure boards using appropriate wall ties and clips per manufacturer’s guidance

• Seal junctions and openings to minimise thermal bridging

• Complete the wall with an approved cavity closer and external finish
