The Kingspan Kooltherm K103 Floor Insulation Board is a rigid phenolic foam board engineered for superior thermal performance in ground-bearing and suspended floor applications. It features low thermal conductivity (as low as 0.019 W/m·K) and a glass tissue facing on both sides, ensuring strength, durability, and consistent insulation coverage.

The board resists moisture absorption and maintains performance in damp conditions, making it suitable for both new-build and retrofit projects. Its lightweight design enables quick installation and minimal waste on-site, while its high compressive strength supports long-term stability under floor finishes and screeds.

Installation Guide:

• Ensure the floor surface is level, dry, and free from debris before installation
• Lay boards with joints tightly butted and staggered to reduce thermal bridging
• Apply a suitable damp-proof membrane if required before laying insulation
• Fix insulation boards according to project design, ensuring full support underneath
• Install floor finish or screed directly over the insulation as specified
• Always wear protective gloves and eyewear during handling and cutting
