Heavy Duty Restraint Strap

The Heavy Duty Restraint Strap is a robust galvanised steel connector used to provide lateral and vertical restraint in structural applications. Manufactured from mild steel with a Z300 galvanised and edge-coated finish, it ensures long-term corrosion resistance and strength. The pre-punched, offset holes allow for easy, secure fixing without movement. Ideal for tying timber roofs, floor joists, and wall plates to masonry walls, as well as reinforcing or repairing structural joints and fence posts.

Installation Guide:

• Ensure surfaces are clean, level, and free from debris
• Position the restraint strap according to structural design requirements
• Fix the strap using minimum 3.75 × 30 mm square twist nails or equivalent screws
• Secure to timber joists, rafters, or trusses at required spacing
• Bend or twist the strap if necessary to align with fixing points
• Check all fixings are tight and structurally secure before completion
