Plain Ended:

Plain-ended rodding point connects directly into couplers, bends or socketed fittings, offering maximum layout flexibility during system installation or repairs. This variation is suitable where a socket is not required or where a coupler is already in place. Rigid uPVC construction maintains structural shape under backfill load, while the smooth internal bore supports straight-line rodding through pipe runs and bends.

Single Socket:

Single socket rodding point includes an integrated push-fit socket for direct connection to plain-ended underground drainage pipework. This provides a watertight, sealed joint without the need for additional couplers, reducing installation steps. Pre-fitted sealing ring supports reliable joint compression, ensuring leak-free operation when soil settlement or temperature changes occur around the pipe run.

Installation Guide:

• Excavate and prepare level granular bedding.

• Position rodding point vertically with access lid at finished ground level.

• For plain-ended type, insert spigot into coupler or socket fitting.

• For single socket type, insert plain-ended pipe into push-fit socket.

• Check clear rodding path before backfilling.

• Surround with compacted granular backfill to stabilise the unit.

• Keep access cover visible and unobstructed for routine maintenance.
